Body Measurement


In general contexts a newborn is in an infant who is within hours, days, or up to a few weeks from birth .in medical or neonate refers to infant in the first 28 days of life. And a toddler is a young child who is the age of learning to walk, between infancy and childhood. Toddling usually begins between age of twelve month to four month. During the toddler’s stage, the children also learns a great deal about social roles, develops motor skills, and first start to use language. The baby whose length is between 31 to 31 inch and weight 29 ib to 42 ibs.


Different types of garments measurement
Collar measurement around the base of the neck where the collar sits. Chest measurement the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the tape is well up at the back over the shoulder blades. Waist measurement the natural waistline just above the top of your hips and below your stomach. Inside leg measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.


Sleeve measurement from base of the shoulder down the arm to where you want your sleeve to finish. Outside leg measurement from the natural waistline to where your trouser is normally worn in the shoe. Jacket length measurement from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. Then length measurement will vary depending on the style of garments.




Outside leg measurement from waist down the outside of leg to length required. Inside leg standarding with feet 12’’/ 30 cm apart, measurement from under the crotch down inside leg to length required. Waist measurement closely round from the body.


Thigh measurement from the closely round from the round thigh of the part. Knee the circumference of the knee measurement with the subjected standard upright. Cuff the maximum girth of cuff measurement with the subjected standing upright.


Garments size for human
Men: Short-5’3’’ to 5’7’’ short. 5’8’’ to 6’ is regular, and above 6’ is tall.
Women: short -4’11’’ to 5’3’’ short, regular is 5’4’’ to 5’7’’.and above 5’7’’ is tall.
